ChatGPT reached 100 million active monthly users just a couple of months after its debut in November 2022 – outpacing social media titans such as Instagram which took two-and-a-half years and TikTok which required nine months – remarkably faster than their respective adoption times. Since becoming a for-profit company in 2019, OpenAI’s estimated value has surged up to an astounding $29 billion and counting!
